Freemasons, Jews and Protestants: the founders of modern economic and wealthy society!

The Persians, the Egyptians, the Hittites, the Phoenicians, the Greeks and the Romans, if we only look at the Mediterranean Sea, were all good businessmen and knew that in the event of a larger trade, external help (now called credit) is essential. Roman law already deals with the regulation of usury (which is actually nothing more than interest calculation), terms of payment, guarantees and their compensation.
In the Middle Ages, two backward religions emerged around the once flourishing Mediterranean region, but especially the Christian one, which brand marked this form of monetary business as usury and forbade it because they considered to be immoral. For centuries, the backwardness of the Germanic barbarians, the pretended prudery of Christianity and the holy wars, on the part of both Catholics and Muslims, prevented this cultural center of the world, the Mediterranean, from blossoming again.
What should be the difference between "usurers" and "legal credit institutions"? It was the Jew, who not bound by this pseudo-moral, lent money and became rich in the process. But he not only became wealthy, he also played a very important role in this lagging world of Europe; without them, the idea of the Hanseatic League or Venice as a trade center could not have arisen.
Protestantism then brought the breakthrough. Luther already noticed that work is not a punishment from heaven; and the later Protestants lived according to the motto that in order to go to heaven one had to prepare the way there with hard work on earth. Switzerland and Holland are listed here as examples of how they, as small nations, did good business and made money.
As for the Freemason, it should be noted here that its history begins in England. These were people who were mainly called in at large building sites, such as churches. Special training was required for this type of work. The knowledge was always passed on from father to son. And since such a construction often took several decades and the work was not without its dangers, those, who had worked together for several generations, learned to trust each other. They were also the first kind of workers union, because they could represent their interests as a group. Such a community of church- or large construction workers included not only bricklayers, stonemasons and other professions necessary for it. They mostly had their own bakers, tailors, etc. and bought from each other. What was within this circle was written down and billed from time to time. To the outside world, they paid in cash. This was a state within the state and could not be controlled by the system governing the country. That is why the official state and its henchmen, for example the Church, reacted with propaganda and lies to discredit these pioneers of modern industrial societies in the eyes of the people. These systems later spread to other parts of the economy.
Today there are sometimes economic crises, but in general, it can be said that this free economic thinking has created our prosperity and still maintains it. On the contrary, Arab states, where interest is still prohibited as immoral.
