What is the criterion for creativity? What is creativity? - "God created the world." the bible says. - A creative artist - A wondrous creature Basically, creativity means making something new, something that has never been before. Where does this need for something new come from? Either we have an old problem and are looking for a better and newer solution or we are facing new circumstances and need new solutions or means because the old ones are only partially or not at all suitable for it. Today, there are already computer programs that can collect data in order to develop the program in the appropriate direction and select the best from the possible existing solutions. The program, so to speak, learns like a child at school, only that the program is equipped with many skills beforehand and can start from a higher level. But then, why, maybe 20 years later, is it this child who is developing a new program and not the computer? 10,000 years ago, no one would have thought that we would one day race at a speed of 200 km / h on a highway or speak to someone who lived just on the other side of the world. We had this need and goal and were looking for a way to do it. The computer, for example, is just a means of helping us, without it and other aids, many things would not be possible. Many fear or envision that these means will one day become independent and could govern us. But what a machine lacks is the goal, the direction. Creativity can only be realized if it finds a goal or a new direction. A machine has no needs, it just exists, it does not look for the "why", it does not want to explore the meaning.
