I) good morning

"Good morning!" - the voice came from the radio, which had automatically switched on by the alarm clock. Our hero woke up and threw a pillow at the radio, whereupon it fell from the table and went silent. He had forgotten to turn off the alarm because it was a public holiday.
A day like this is actually free, which should basically mean that there is no work. On these occasions, he stayed in bed longer, at noon with his parents, in the afternoon with grandma. In the evening, he was just as tired as after a day at work. Eating too much, which also made him sleep poorly.
In addition, he had to come up with another excuse for his grandma today, why his girlfriend had not come with him. His parents knew that she had moved out six months ago, but he couldn't tell his grandmother about it. Even his mother, who had seen the girl as her daughter-in-law, did not understand him. “The girl wants to be married and start a family. Imagine if your father wouldn't have married me! Then you wouldn't be here now.” His father's reaction on such an occasion was always an embarrassing smile. When, as a child, he sometimes went fishing with his father, he noticed that the old man really didn't know what to do with a child. His mother had dragged him to church and married him. Basically, he didn't determine anything in his life. Grandmother and mother, his father's wife and mother-in-law, were not domestic dragons, but they knew what they wanted. And the father let himself be led. It was just easier for him. It was also these two women who had put him in an office in which he had played the real boss and worked exactly forty hours a week, not a minute longer or less, for nearly forty years until he retired. On Wednesdays and Saturdays, he watched the championship matches or got upset about the socialist government's foreign policy. "These immigrants are ruining our culture!"
When our hero refused to do military service and did community service instead, the father and grandmother were not told because it would have caused a family tragedy. The grandfather had served in the Waffen SS.
There were many other things he couldn't tell them. He was currently dating a girl of Turkish descent. She had almost the same problems with her own family.
As he lay there, in bed, thinking about his chances of survival for the present day, he felt miserable, as he usually did on days when he had to play a comedy out of consideration for the feelings of the elderly. Was there no way to break out? He would have loved to leave everything behind so as not to have to live with these lies.
And that was only the family. Things weren't much better with the people around him. Everything that looked new or different was strange to them and should be condemned. He'd liked to wear long hair even as a child, mostly because he hated the average cut of the village barber. The village dentist, who probably would have wanted to be some important figure during the Hitler era, asked him when he was thirteen whether he was a boy or a girl. When he got a punk haircut from his classmates at a party at the age of seventeen, he was completely excluded from society. Homosexuals were strange to him too, but he was beginning to understand what these people had to endure because they were different. Or did they want to be different? "If you want to get up the social ladder, or even just want to be accepted, you have to stand in line and not attract attention." - he was given to understand. Actually he was like everyone else, maybe a bit more honest with himself, someone who didn't try to deny his own self, but wanted to try different directions until he had found the right one, someone who didn't just want to accept everything without critics, but asked questions. Yes, he questioned everything, that was his fault. Such people either become great or are ruined. “A body can only work well when all parts do their job, every outgrowth is a cancer and must be removed before it attacks the organism.” These people had never heard about Darwin and his teachings. “Mutation and selection result in evolution.” Not every change is good, but a society that flies to the moon and wants to conquer space needs and should be able to absorb new elements. Without the homosexual Michelangelo and the Jewish Einstein, we would still be sitting in the trees today. And without Hitler, Horthy and Nero we would not know that we also have to protect ourselves from ourselves. It is a joke of history that it is the supporters of the tyrants who scream the loudest and demand protection. Of whom? Of course of themselves!
