Modern problems
Economist: It is becoming more and
more difficult to finance pensions because there are more and more retirees.
Politician: Either the birth rate
would have to rise, or many immigrants would have to come from less developed
countries in order to increase the number of young taxpayers.
Nationalist: We don't need
foreigners in our country, we just have to prevent our women from having
abortion.
Sociologist: We need ten workers
to support one pensioner. Of those, only three will die by the time they grow
old and retire. Seventy taxpayers are required in the next round. According
to this calculation, the population would have to double every third
generation, which is of course impossible. In addition, if abortion is
banned, the number of births will only rise for a short time before men and
women find another solution to circumvent this ban, and Europe is one of the
most densely populated regions in the world after western China and the
Indian peninsula.
Catholic: Abortion is murder. God
gives life and he takes it back. Nobody has the right to decide about life
and death, not even about the unborn.
Doctor: Only after the third month
does the embryo begin to live somehow independently. I think one can't speak
of a human beforehand.
Esoteric: When a sperm cell meets
an egg cell, a soul arises. If we do not allow this soul to materialise, we
will disturb the world of souls.
Women's rights activist: Every
woman must have the right to decide for herself.
Esoteric psychologist: If a woman does not
want to bear a child to a man, it means for the man that she rejects him too.
Misogynist: Women should consider
themselves lucky that they are doing so well in Europe. In various countries,
even their clitoris would be cut out so that they could not feel any joy at
all. And then these emancipated females are so ill-considering that they marry
an Arab or a negro.
Conservative: The woman's job is
to have children and to look after the family home, which gives the man the
opportunity to relax and gather strength for work again.
Woman: An abortion advocate would
never order an opponent of this 20th century achievement to have a child
aborted. However, when there are too many opponents, abortion is simply
banned. Who actually has to raise the children? The man on the abortion board
or the pregnant woman? And when a woman has her own money, it is easier for
her to leave the man who is abusing her.
Historian for economic studies:
Since Adam Smith, we have recognised that the economy works best when as many
participants in society as possible can be incorporated into the
manufacturing process and later into the circle of buyers. And this is only
possible if women can also shape their lives independently.
Gynaecologist: I think that women
generally work more legally than men because they value health, need a gynaecologist
and therefore want to take advantage of state health insurance.
Family psychologist: When parents
take turns on maternity leave, the relationship between father and children
improves and the relationship between wife and husband is more relaxed when the
woman enjoys equal rights.
